Welcome to the Round Oak Robins Website
Our Aim
To help young people and their families, who live in the Dudley area, accommodate the death of someone special to them.
We were formed in 2006 to work closely with children, young adults and their parents/carers.
We offer
- telephone support
- home visits
- activity days and events
- support for schools and other organisations
We offer suggestions to help families to address difficulties caused through bereavement.
Our aim is to reduce emotional, physical and spiritual distress.
We work to a tried and tested professional model of care.
We are not a religious organisation and offer our services to all comers
Most of all we care!
Importantly
We can introduce families and individuals who are experiencing very similar situations. This sometimes is an answer in itself. Isolation and exclusion unfortunately comes with the death of a loved one, but we are here to inform you...
"You are not alone!"
Who Are We
We are a group of volunteers who have experienced the pain, isolation and exclusion that a bereavement can bring.
We come from many different backgrounds and have a wealth of experience working with families in various professional capacities.
We are compassionate, non-judgemental and caring and we are dedicating our time to make a positive impact in the lives of many precious families within the Dudley Borough.
We call ourselves:
The Round Oak Robins
